MAP

The new $70.0M Lazaridis Hall is a landmark building on the new St. Michael’s campus and serves as a gateway for Wilfrid Laurier University (WLU). The 220,000 sq.ft. facility houses the School of Business and Economics (SBE) and the Department of Mathematics. In order to meet the increasing demands of the growing Kitchener-Waterloo technology corridor, the building contains state-of-the-art incubator space to support entrepreneurship and new business startups while fostering student interaction and collaborative research.

This facility features a large range of teaching spaces, including case-study classrooms, two active learning classrooms, three math labs and a leading edge finance lab with Bloomberg terminals; as well as faculty and administrative offices. A large, light-filled atrium which allows views across and through the building acts as the main meeting space for students and also serves as space for special events and lectures.
