Lilia is an accomplished human resources professional with over 13 years of experience in the public and private sectors. Joining Diamond Schmitt Architects in 2008, Lilia is a member of the firm’s leadership team responsible for managing all aspects of human resource operations.
Through innovative and progressive approaches, Lilia identifies leading human resource initiatives and develops and executes HR strategies and programs to help strengthen the firm’s unique culture. Lilia applies broad human resources competencies in the areas of strategic workforce planning, employee relations, culture development, retention, diversity and employee engagement, mentorship and training, compensation and health benefits strategies, HR policies and procedures, change management, coaching/consultation and more.
She is passionate about encouraging a positive, open, fair and engaging work environment by thoroughly understanding the needs and opportunities of the firm and its staff members.
Lilia holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree specializing in Psychology from the University of Guelph and holds a Post Graduate Certificate in Human Resources Management from Georgian College.
