Peggy Theodore

BIOGRAPHY

Peggy Theodore is an architect, LEED-accredited professional and Senior Associate with Diamond Schmitt Architects.

Peggy has led large multidisciplinary design teams on numerous award-winning projects including Ryerson Image Centre and School of Image Arts; Queen’s University School of Medicine; Papadakis Integrated Sciences Building at Drexel university in Philadelphia; and Maria Shchuka Library in Toronto. Recent projects include the new Public Health Ontario Laboratory headquarters and the Ontario Institute for Cancer Research, both located at MaRS Discovery District in Toronto. Currently, Peggy is heading up the Undergraduate Life Sciences Teaching Facility at the University of British Columbia and managing the new Collection and Conservation Centre for the Canada Science and Technology Museum in Ottawa.

Peggy’s expertise encompasses specialized institutional projects including academic research, museum design and higher education. Her contributions to Diamond Schmitt Architects include business development, office management, professional development and design excellence.
