Martin Davidson, Principal, presents a case study of the Senate of Canada Building in Ottawa at Facades+, a conference on rapidly evolving building skin technology. As part of the renewal and repurposing of Ottawa's former train station to become interim home to the Senate, Diamond Schmitt Architects and KWC Architects created a modern interpretation of the Beaux-Arts building’s stone-columned façade for the blank east elevation.
