Karel Brozik is a licensed architectural technologist and Certified Construction Contract Administrator (CCCA). He received his architectural technologist diploma with honours from George Brown College and joined Diamond Schmitt Architects in 2014. He was made Associate in 2016.
With over 20 years’ experience, his in-depth knowledge of materials and methods along with his technical experience provide for comprehensive field services during the course of the construction phase. His knowledge of construction law serves as a critical asset during the execution of the contractual responsibilities by the binding parties to the construction contract.
He has taught and lectured about contract administration and construction documentation at University of Toronto and Humber College. Karel also mentors in-house intern architectural staff in the field of construction contract administration.
Among recent and current projects are the South East Community Centre and Trafalgar Park revitalization, both IPD projects in Oakville; Robarts Common at U. of T., 944 Queen St. W. commercial property, and Michael Garron Hospital in Toronto; and Emily Carr University of Art + Design in Vancouver.
