At the annual Theatre Ball gala held at the Evergreen Brick Works in Toronto, Diamond Schmitt was honoured with the 2023 Creative City Builders Award.

Presented by Canadian Stage, the Creative City Builders Award recognizes and celebrates leaders and companies that have meaningfully contributed to the creative spaces and communities in the vibrant city of Toronto.

When choosing the recipient of the 2023 Creative City Builders Award, the committee unanimously chose Diamond Schmitt. The firm is founded on a practice that is deeply rooted in the belief that architecture can inspire and empower people to realize their full potential, and was honoured for demonstrating its ability to elevate and enrich communities through its building designs.
