A groundbreaking initiative to introduce passive-house strategies to a Toronto Community Housing Corporation project designed by Diamond Schmitt Architects is profiled in The Globe and Mail.

The highly sustainable design features 21 townhouses on two sites that are part of the redevelopment of Alexandra Park in downtown Toronto. It will be the first city project of its kind since the introduction of a 'green standard' which sets the bar high for energy performance towards the goal of zero carbon emissions.
