With a degree in Environmental Studies from the University of Waterloo’s School of Urban and Regional Planning, Robert directs programming and feasibility studies, urban design, campus planning and development projects. His work is broad-based with institutional, municipal and private sector clients. Joining Diamond Schmitt Architects in 1997, Robert became a Principal of the firm in 2002.

Robert manages the business development and marketing group for Diamond Schmitt Architects. Creating meaningful connections between clients and consultants is an every-day task. Providing the means to long-term collaborations, with an eye to transformative designs that elevate and enrich communities, is what keeps him engaged.
