Join Senior Associate Arne Suraga, at the annual Ontario Association of Architects (OAA) Conference where he will be addressing the housing crisis, climate needs, and economic challenges following the pandemic in Canada. 

On May 24, 2024 at 8:30am EST Arne will be speaking alongside Eva Russell, project manager of construction at Ottawa Community Housing (OCH) on how the OHC is stepping up to these challenges by looking to affect change in all three areas through its new portfolio of buildings, including Phase 1 of Gladstone Village designed by Diamond Schmitt. Together they will speak to the opportunities, challenges, and aspirations of the project. Aiming for Passive House levels of performance, they will discuss how Gladstone Village will achieve this through energy‐efficient building systems, renewables, and a high‐performance envelope.
