Reconnecting to Nature Through McGill’s New Vic Building

October 27, 2021

The transformation of part of the old Royal Victoria Hospital into a state-of-the-art research, teaching, and learning hub dedicated to Sustainability Systems and Public Policy, is a major milestone for McGill’s interdisciplinary response to contemporary sustainability challenges.

Heritage revitalization and new construction are shaped to open the site at the base of Mount Royal to the adjacent McGill Campus, to the neighbouring community and to Montreal itself.

The public consultation for the project kicked off with a virtual information session detailing the SQI master plan and McGill’s New Vic Project on this important and iconic site.
