David Geffen Hall has been named a finalist of the AZ Awards 2023 in the Commercial and Institutional Interiors (over 1000 square metres) category.
The AZ Awards 2023 finalists were selected by an esteemed jury comprised of Jay Barber, Marie Christine Dorner, David Fortin, Thom Fougere, Alain Gilles, Meg Graham, Peter Mabeo, Pascale Sablan, Lawrence Scarpa, Jerry Van Eyck. From over 1,000 submissions across eight major categories, the jury nominated 83 projects — the very best entries from around the world that illustrate an international scope of excellence in design.
David Geffen Hall was evaluated on how well it met project objectives and addressed design challenges, the technological and material innovations employed, along with the social and environmental impact the building has had on the local and greater community since its opening.
On June 23, at the AZ Awards Gala, the winners will be announced. Until then, the public has the opportunity to vote for their favourite AZ Awards 2023 finalists in the People’s Choice category here! Voting closes on May 20.
