Coco Xiong holds degrees from University of Waterloo and Harvard Graduate School of Design, and she is a LEED-accredited professional. A licensed architect with the OAA and AIA, she has extensive international experience in interior design and architecture, she has contributed to diverse projects including large mixed-use developments, residences, academic, healthcare, and interiors of varying scales and complexities.

Since joining Diamond Schmitt in 2019, she has been committed to crafting quality and detailed designs through innovation. Her multidisciplinary approach enables her to push the boundaries of design, consistently delivering spaces that inspire and engage communities. 

Passionate about innovation and emerging technologies, Coco is skilled at parametric design and using digital tools to enhance the creative process, and develop environmentally conscious and forward-thinking projects.

Notable works in her portfolio include the Clinical Support and Research Centre at St. Paul’s Hospital in Vancouver, Ādisōke (Ottawa Public Library – Library Archive of Canada), and Markham Town Square. Additionally, Coco has played a significant role in design competitions including Quayside, Royal BC Museum and ETS Montreal.
