Vesna is a licensed architect in both Ontario (OAA) and Serbia, with a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Belgrade. Since joining Diamond Schmitt in 2020, Vesna plays a key role in navigating complex technical challenges to support design excellence.

Her work spans large-scale healthcare and research facilities, student residences, mixed-use high-rises, and major renovations with a heritage focus—all within a strong framework of sustainable design. Vesna has contributed to projects that have consistently achieved LEED certification since 2010.

She is proficient in building envelope design and detailing, systems coordination, and leading projects through all phases, from competition and early design through construction. Her project work includes the Spadina Sussex Student Residence in Toronto, McMaster Graduate Residence in Hamilton, P3 Burnaby Hospital, and the St. Paul's CSRC project in British Columbia.

Vesna is an active member of Diamond Schmitt’s Building Technology Committee. LEED Associate from 2011 to 2022, she is currently pursuing additional accreditation in sustainable design.
