Eric Lucassen received a Bachelors of Science degree in Architecture from Ryerson University and a Masters of Architecture from the University of Manitoba.  He became a member of the Ontario Association of Architects in 2013.

Eric joined Diamond Schmitt Architects in 2006 and was named Associate in 2016.  As an Associate, Eric is responsible for delivering projects from pursuit / concept design through to end of construction.  In addition to architectural projects, Eric’s management responsibilities include chairing the project management committee and developing office standards and training seminars.

Eric’s approach to architecture lies not only in design excellence, but also technical excellence.  His in-depth experience and knowledge in both design and construction helps him ensure his team produces construction documents to the highest standards possible.

Notable projects include; The Burlington Performing Arts Centre, Laurentian University Modernization Project, Regent Park Master Plan, Toronto Zoo Wildlife Health Centre, Mariinsky Opera House, NRC Canadian Centre for Advanced Materials and Manufacturing Facility, NRC Solution Centre, and Dundas Aukland Tower.
