Zhivka Hristova is driven by diverse perspectives and collaboration, with the aim to support creativity and innovation throughout every aspect of the design and planning process. She specializes in resolving client programming needs and requirements, and excels in crafting unique architectural expressions through material selection, spatial design, and building system integration. With a wealth of experience in project management and construction administration across various project types, Zhivka brings clarity to complex projects.

Zhivka joined the studio in 2018, providing her with opportunities to collaborate with exceptional talent on landmark projects such as Mirvish Village, King West, McMaster University’s Graduate Student Residence and McGill University’s The New Vic. 

Zhivka's diverse skillset and collaborative approach spans various sectors including residential, educational, and commercial projects, as well as hybrid buildings and design-build endeavors. She is not only a skilled architect but also a seasoned traveler, particularly across eastern Canada, enriching her perspective and informing her design sensibilities.

Zhivka Hristova completed both her undergraduate and graduate degrees at Ryerson University. She is a registered Architect with the OAA.
