Toronto, ON - Once again, Diamond Schmitt has been selected as one of Canada's Top Employers for Young People (2023). The editorial competition is organized by Canada's Top 100 Employers project, and is a special designation that recognizes the employers that offer the nation's best workplaces and programs for young people just starting their careers. The employers on this list are Canada's leaders in attracting and retaining younger employees to their organizations.
Some of the reasons why Diamond Schmitt Architects Inc. was selected as one of Canada's Top Employers for Young People (2023) are:
- Diamond Schmitt Architects actively recruits post-secondary students for paid co-op work terms ranging between four and eight months — students participate in the collaborative architectural design process with project teams, support detailing and documentation, and prepare 2D, 3D, CAD and Revit drawings.
- Diamond Schmitt Architects also offers high school students insight into architectural careers by hiring students for unpaid co-op terms.
- Young employees at Diamond Schmitt Architects have access to a breadth of educational resources including the Diamond Schmitt University training platform and the recently launched DSUonline virtual learning management system — together, these programs provide learning opportunities on topics ranging from theory and project delivery to training and certification in design technologies

In addition to this recognition, Diamond Schmitt is among Canada's Top 100 Employers and Greater Toronto's Top Employers in 2023, Canada's Top Small and Medium Employers in 2021, and Canada's Top Greenest Employers in 2022. The firm is also a Platinum Club member of Canada's Best Managed Companies, a program curated by Deloitte.
