Ewa Rudzik has worked across a diverse range of projects since joining Diamond Schmitt in 2015.  These include academic institutions, healthcare facilities and mixed-use developments, like the Waterworks, the Ken and Marilyn Thomson Patient Care Centre at Michael Garron Hospital, and the University of Toronto Schools.

In 2024, she completed the Innovation Village at Fanshawe College, an academic project that involved the transformation of two adjacent buildings and a new five-storey addition with a custom BIPV cladding system.  The program included a modernized library, Indigenous Spirit assembly, creative production spaces, a centre for research and innovation, the Leap Junction entrepreneurship centre, and student meeting and collaboration spaces.

Ewa has a keen interest in exploring design opportunities that are responsive to the client’s needs and interests and to the project’s site context – including adjacent urban fabric, cultural or social settings and climate impact. Meeting deliverables on highly complex builds, Ewa manages her teams through all phases of a project, from schematic design to project completion. Currently, Ewa is a project architect for the Camh - Phase 1D Redevelopment Project which includes a new 7 storey forensics inpatient facility, a new public park and heritage restoration work.

She is a licensed architect with the Ontario Association of Architects and a LEED Accredited Professional.
