Ranked 20th, Diamond Schmitt has been named to Building Design+Construction Media’s list of the top 180 architecture firms for non-residential building and multifamily housing work in 2025.
At Diamond Schmitt, our team’s depth of expertise across a broad range of building types allows us to address each project’s challenges with innovative design solutions. Sustainability and well-being are integral to our approach, and we strive to create context-aware buildings that respond thoughtfully to their surroundings and the people who use them.
Over the past year, we have reached a number of project milestones across sectors.
Openings include the newly renovated and expanded Carmen Corbasson Community Centre in Mississauga and phase 1 of the Toronto Metropolitan University School of Medicine. Work broke ground on the Redevelopment of Parkinson Recreation Centre in Kelowna, Gidigaa Migizi College and the new Otonabee College residence at Trent University, Uxbridge Hospital, and the Toronto Paramedic Services Multi-Function Station 02 in Scarborough. And, construction continued at Marpole Community Centre in Vancouver, Telus Ocean in Victoria, Conestoga College, the Alexandra Park Passive House Pilot Project, Gladstone Village, BAND Gallery, and the AGO Dani Reiss Modern and Contemporary Gallery, to name a few.
